Who can take part

  • You have spasticity (stiff/tight muscles) and weakness on one side due to a past stroke
  • You have not had surgery on your lower leg/leg before
  • You can walk at least 10 meters (about 33 feet) without another person helping and without a walking device
  • When you take steps, your toes clear the ground during the swing phase without braces or supports
  • You have not had any botulinum toxin injections in the past 4 months
