This trial tests a method to improve the walking pattern of stroke survivors who have leg spasticity (tight muscles) and a specific abnormal way of walking. If you had a stroke at least 6 months ago and still have trouble walking due to spasticity, this study may help you.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have French health insurance (carte vitale) and are on ALD (100% reimbursement for a long-term condition)
  • You had a stroke (ischemic or hemorrhagic) at least 6 months ago, and your condition is stable with a Rankin score of 2 to 4 (moderate disability)
  • You have spasticity on one side of your body that affects your walking, causing a tip-toe gait and a 'mowing wheat-like' leg movement
  • You can walk (not wheelchair or bedridden)
  • You have had a full medical check-up before the study and can give written consent
