Who can take part
- You agree to join and sign informed consent
- You are 18 to 70 years old
- You have ADPKD confirmed by imaging tests and/or genetic testing
- Your kidney filtration blood test (eGFR) is 38 to under 90
- You either have risk signs for faster decline OR evidence that your kidney function has been dropping over time
- You can NOT have certain conditions that make metformin unsafe or could affect results
