  • You agree to join and sign informed consent
  • You are 18 to 70 years old
  • You have ADPKD confirmed by imaging tests and/or genetic testing
  • Your kidney filtration blood test (eGFR) is 38 to under 90
  • You either have risk signs for faster decline OR evidence that your kidney function has been dropping over time
  • You can NOT have certain conditions that make metformin unsafe or could affect results
