Who can take part

  • You’re between 20 and 80 years old
  • You live in São Paulo, Brazil
  • You can attend an overnight sleep lab test and understand the instructions
  • You don’t have disability or limitations that prevent the sleep lab setup
  • For the healthy volunteer part: you’re not experiencing major sleepiness, poor sleep, insomnia, depression symptoms, or high sleep-apnea risk
  • For the sleep-disorder part: you must have at least one sleep problem/complaint (such as insomnia, high sleep-apnea risk, or excessive daytime sleepiness)
