Who can take part

  • You have had a first-ever stroke caused by a blocked blood vessel (cerebral infarction)
  • You are between 18 and 89 years old
  • Your leg/arm muscle strength is moderate (Oxford scale 3 to 5)
  • You can walk without another person’s help
  • You can understand instructions and communicate with the study team
  • You are willing to sign informed consent (your participation is voluntary)
