Who can take part

  • You are age 18 or older
  • You have heart failure with reduced heart pumping (LVEF under 50%)
  • You are scheduled for a coronary angiogram and/or a PCI (stent or similar procedure)
  • Your doctor says you may be at higher risk for kidney injury (AKI risk score above 1%)
  • You can take part in a treatment using at least one arm (no severe arm blood-flow blockage)
  • You are not pregnant and can provide informed consent
