This study looks at how brain imaging findings match up with thinking and memory in people after a TIA (a temporary stroke-like event). If you join, your role is mainly to contribute data from brain scans soon after the event, plus study questionnaires.

Who can take part
- You are over 60 years old
- If you had a TIA: you must have had new stroke-like symptoms that lasted less than 24 hours
- If you had a TIA: your MRI must be done within about 1 week after the event (with no new injury on diffusion MRI)
- You must be able and willing to take part in the related Normandy-Stroke cohort (for TIA participants) or Medit-AGEING protocol (for controls)
- You must not oppose the use of your data for this Cog-Tia study
