Who can take part
- You’re age 18 to 75, and you’ve had asthma diagnosed for at least 12 months.
- Your asthma tests show allergic, “reversible” or reactive airways (based on lung function or methacholine test results).
- Your lung function before rescue inhaler is between 40% and 80% of what’s predicted for you.
- You’ve been on a stable medium- or high-dose inhaled steroid plus a second medicine (LABA) for several months (and the dose can’t have changed recently).
- You have evidence of allergy: high blood IgE level and a positive skin prick or allergy blood test.
- Your asthma control questionnaire score is high (uncontrolled asthma), and you’ve had at least one asthma flare in the last year.
