  • You are 12 to 80 years old.
  • You have had asthma for at least 2 years.
  • You use a high-dose inhaled steroid plus another controller medicine for at least 3 months.
  • You had at least 2 asthma attacks in the past year that needed steroid pills or liquid.
  • You weigh at least 40 kg (about 88 pounds).
