Who can take part

  • Be 12 to 80 years old
  • Have had asthma for at least 2 years
  • Take medium to high doses of inhaled steroids plus another asthma controller medicine like a LABA or LAMA for at least 3 months
  • Had at least 2 asthma attacks in the past year that needed steroid pills or shots
  • Weigh at least 40 kg (about 88 pounds)
  • Be a non-smoker or have quit smoking for at least 6 months and have a smoking history of less than 10 pack-years
