Who can take part
- Your baby’s adjusted age (corrected for being born early) is between term age and 24 months when the study starts
- Your baby has a brain injury seen on imaging that matches specific types around birth (like perinatal stroke, bleeding, or lack of oxygen) and involves movement-related brain areas
- A parent or legal guardian can speak English and give consent for the study
- Your baby does not have a different unrelated neurologic condition (not caused by perinatal stroke/bleed/HIE)
- Your baby does not have certain other medical conditions such as metabolic disorders, specific brain-development disorders, or a traumatic brain injury from an accident
