Who can take part

  • Your baby was born at 36 weeks or later
  • Your baby weighed at least 1800 grams (about 4 pounds) at birth
  • Your baby had oxygen loss during birth, shown by blood tests or needing help breathing for at least 10 minutes
  • Your baby had a brain-wave test (EEG) done before 6 hours of life
  • Your family does not object to your baby's medical data being used for research
