Who can take part
- You’re an adult (age 18 or older) and can consent to the study
- Your anal cancer was confirmed as squamous cell cancer (or a close variant)
- Your cancer is early stage: T1 to T3, with no lymph node spread (N0) and no distant spread (M0)
- Your scans show no groin lymph node involvement, including PET imaging and a special biopsy called SLNB
- You have not had pelvic radiation before, and you’re not currently pregnant or breastfeeding
