Who can take part
- You are 18 or older and were seen in the ER for fainting within the past 24 hours
- Your fainting risk level is medium or high based on an ER risk score (CSRS)
- You are being discharged home from the ER (not admitted to the hospital) on that visit
- You did not faint for more than 5 minutes
- You do not have signs of serious brain injury or severe confusion at the time of screening
- Your fainting was not clearly due to a seizure, head injury, major intoxication, or another obvious serious cause
