Who can take part
- You have primary ITP (your platelet problem is from an immune cause, not another condition).
- Your platelet count is low and stays low: under 50 (in the trial’s units).
- You have no severe bleeding in the past month or at the time of screening.
- Your ITP has lasted: either 3–12 months (persistent) or more than 12 months (chronic).
- You have not had a significant bleeding episode within the last 4 weeks.
- You have not had a spleen removal surgery (splenectomy) in the last 3 months, and you don’t plan one during the study.
