Who can take part
- You must be between 7 and 25 years old.
- You must have a new diagnosis of B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) and be about to start your first treatment.
- Your planned chemotherapy must include specific drugs like vincristine, steroids, pegaspargase, and either daunorubicin or doxorubicin, and should last less than 35 days.
- You must not be underweight for your age and height.
- You cannot have Down syndrome or a DNA fragility syndrome (such as Fanconi anemia or Bloom syndrome).
- You cannot have had treatment for another cancer in the past.
