Who can take part

  • You have confirmed pancreatic cancer (adenocarcinoma) in the pancreas, and it’s in the pancreatic head or nearby areas.
  • You are 18 years or older, and you are well enough to do daily activities (ECOG 0 or 1).
  • Your cancer is “borderline resectable,” meaning imaging suggests it might be removed with surgery, as reviewed by a specialist team.
  • You have not had chemotherapy or radiation for pancreatic cancer before.
  • Your blood counts and organ labs are in a safe range (including enough white blood cells, platelets, hemoglobin, and kidney/liver function).
  • Your bilirubin and CA 19.9 tumor marker are below the study limits (with allowed improvement after bile stent placement).
