Who can take part

  • Be between 1 and 18 years old
  • Have epilepsy where seizures seem to start from a single area (focal onset)
  • Be seeing a pediatrician for epilepsy, and get a brain MRI as part of the evaluation
  • The child and/or parent must agree to the study’s use of imaging/data
  • The MRI must be of good enough quality to be read clearly
  • The study must have your seizure history details showing the seizure focus
