Who can take part

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have essential thrombocythemia (ET), polycythemia vera (PV), or myelofibrosis (MF) confirmed by 2016 WHO criteria
  • Have a current MPN symptom score of 10 or higher (symptoms questionnaire)
  • Not take interferon-alpha or a JAK inhibitor (like ruxolitinib or fedratinib) in the past 28 days
  • Not take NAC (or NAC-containing products) in the past 28 days
  • Blood tests must be adequate (no too-low kidney/liver values and platelets, hemoglobin, and neutrophils must meet thresholds)
