Who can take part

  • You have non-small cell lung cancer that is stage II–III, or limited stage IV (with up to 5–10 specific sites, excluding how brain spots are counted).
  • Your body can handle treatment: blood counts are high enough (neutrophils, hemoglobin, platelets) and certain liver and kidney tests are within limits.
  • You have no serious lasting side effects from past treatment—any prior treatment-related toxicities must be mild (grade 1 or less), except hair loss.
  • You must have had recent scans (PET-CT or CT with contrast, and MRI brain with contrast preferred) as part of your work-up.
  • You can get standard chemotherapy with radiation during the study, and you are not expected to need surgery that would change treatment plans.
  • You are generally able to consent and participate (ECOG performance status 0–2), with no major medical conditions that would make treatment unsafe.
