Who can take part

  • You’re 18 years or older
  • You have heart failure symptoms that are moderate, like NYHA Class II to III
  • Your echocardiogram or MRI shows left ventricular ejection fraction is 50% or higher
  • Your heart tests suggest higher filling pressures (they look for specific echocardiogram patterns, past pressure measurements, or a prior hospitalization needing IV diuretics)
  • You’re medically stable and able to do exercise testing
  • You do not have several key conditions that could make the study unsafe, including pregnancy, certain valve diseases, serious lung disease, very low kidney function, and poorly controlled heart rhythm or blood pressure
