Who can take part

  • You’re older than 18 years
  • You are admitted to the hospital after an emergency room visit
  • Your breathing problem is new and sudden (not a long-standing issue)
  • You need at least 5 liters per minute of oxygen to keep oxygen levels at 90% or higher
  • You are not transferred from another hospital or clinic
  • You can give consent (or your legal representative can)
