Daily pill and home risk check to prevent stroke and memory loss
Treatments studied
Part of Brain & nervous system, Heart & circulation, Mental health clinical trials.
This Phase 3 trial tests whether a daily “polypill” plus a simple home risk-check plan can lower the chance of stroke and future thinking/memory problems. It is aimed at adults at moderate risk but who have not had stroke or heart disease before.

This Phase 3 trial tests whether a daily “polypill” can reduce the chance of another stroke after a recent ischemic stroke. It may help people by improving several heart-and-blood-vessel risks at once, but only if it fits safely with their medical situation.
This trial tests a simple program to help people who have had a stroke stick with their blood pressure medication. It uses text messages and a medication organizer to make it easier to remember pills and keep blood pressure under control.
This study tests a smartphone-based program to help people at high risk for stroke make healthier choices and track their health. It aims to see if using your phone for health coaching and monitoring can lower your chances of having a stroke.
This trial looks at how a daily “polypill” affects coronary (heart blood vessel) risk factors in adults who already take this polypill for prevention after a prior heart event. If you’re eligible, you’ll complete several study visits so the team can compare risk factors over time.
This trial tests a single 'polypill' that combines several medicines for people with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and type 2 diabetes. The goal is to see if taking one pill each day helps control these conditions better than usual care.
This trial looks at starting blood-pressure–related medicine early to help prevent heart disease and stroke in people with stage 1 high blood pressure. You may be a candidate if your blood pressure is mildly high and you are not already on blood-pressure medicines.
