- You are 18 or older
- You have a new diagnosis of peripartum cardiomyopathy
- You are within 5 months after delivery
- Your heart pumping strength (LVEF) is 40% or less on blood test timing after consent
- You do not have a prior history of cardiomyopathy or major heart valve or congenital heart disease
