Who can take part
- You have moderate knee osteoarthritis in the painful knee (Kellgren-Lawrence grade 2 to 3)
- Your thigh (quadriceps) strength is reduced (less than 7.5 N/kg)
- You can walk more than 50 feet without help
- Your BMI is under 40
- You have already tried at least one knee osteoarthritis treatment for 3 months or longer in the past 2 years, but it didn’t help enough
- You can safely follow the study plan and can read and understand English
