Who can take part

  • Your stroke started at least 3 months ago and was your first stroke affecting one side
  • You are between 35 and 85 years old
  • Your arm weakness is in a moderate-to-mild range (so the trial can measure improvement)
  • Your affected arm should not have severe stiffness/spasms at the shoulder, elbow, wrist, or fingers
  • You can follow instructions and do tasks (memory/thinking screen score of 24 or higher)
  • You must not have epilepsy, be pregnant, or have a pacemaker/metal/implants in the neck or head
