Who can take part
- You had your first stroke (not a repeat stroke) in the last 12 months
- You are between 40 and 80 years old
- The stroke caused weakness or trouble using one hand
- Your arm muscles are not too tight (spasticity level below 3 on a standard scale)
- You can follow simple two-step instructions
- You do not have epilepsy, a history of seizures, or take medications that raise seizure risk
