This study tests modular powered leg braces (orthoses) to improve voluntary movement and walking ability in adult participants. It may help you learn whether the braces are safe and useful for your kind of mobility and daily movement.

Who can take part
- Be between 18 and 85 years old (18–65 or 65–85 group)
- Weigh under 250 pounds
- You must be able to do the required mobility test: either squat-lift a 10 kg weight 10 times (younger group) or walk for 6 minutes (older group)
- You must be able to walk for about 20 minutes if in the younger group
- You cannot be pregnant, and you must not have certain nerve, bone, heart/vision/balance problems, or uncontrolled diabetes/high blood pressure
