Who can take part
- Be age 18 or older
- Have newly diagnosed obstructive sleep apnea (AHI 5 or higher per hour)
- Never have used CPAP before
- Do not have a history of heart disease, heart failure, stroke, or diabetes
- Do not have cancer, long-term lung disease, kidney disease, or autoimmune/rheumatologic disease
- Do not smoke within the last 5 years and do not take regular medications
