Who can take part
- Have heart or combined heart-and-kidney transplant listed as your active plan
- Have a high rejection antibody level (cPRA over 50%)
- Blood tests must be in safe ranges: white blood cell type (ANC) > 1,500 and kidney function (creatinine clearance) > 20
- Liver tests must be acceptable: bilirubin < 1.5 times the lab’s upper limit, and AST/ALT less than about 2.5–3 times the upper limit
- No prior daratumumab (anti-CD38) or certain other study drugs/devices within the past month or so
- Must be able to give informed consent and not be pregnant or breastfeeding
