Who can take part

  • Your stroke was your first one, caused by a blockage in the left middle brain artery, confirmed on an MRI
  • Your stroke happened at least 3 months ago
  • You have non-fluent aphasia (trouble speaking/producing words), but your understanding of others is relatively preserved
  • You’re a native Polish speaker and were right-handed before your stroke
  • You can safely have a 1.5T MRI and don’t have strong claustrophobia
  • You can follow tasks during language testing and therapy, and you can provide informed consent
