Who can take part

  • You are transgender (trans men or trans women)
  • You are 18 to 40 years old
  • You want to start gender-affirming hormone therapy and have never had it before
  • You can make your own medical decisions (informed consent)
  • You do not have certain sex development conditions or hormone/chromosome disorders
  • You have no current psychiatric disorder and no recent use of certain mind- or brain-affecting medicines
