Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 64 years old
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is over 25
  • Your MRI scan shows at least 10% fat in your liver
  • You can clearly explain consent and follow the study rules
  • You can do the MRI and follow the study’s fasting and eating schedule, if assigned
  • You have not had major weight loss (5% or more) in the last 90 days
