Who can take part

  • Be between 18 and 60 years old
  • If you are a woman, you must be premenopausal (not postmenopausal)
  • Do not have active heart or lung diseases or related conditions (including high blood pressure, heart rhythm problems, lung diseases like asthma/COPD/pulmonary hypertension, diabetes, or similar issues)
  • Do not take heart- or lung-related medications you can’t stop for the study
  • Do not have anemia or iron deficiency, and don’t take iron (by mouth or IV) within the last 60 days
