Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older and speak English.
  • You have been diagnosed with both idiopathic hypersomnia and POTS (postural tachycardia syndrome).
  • You have never taken sodium oxybate or low sodium oxybate before.
  • You have moderate to severe autonomic symptoms (like feeling dizzy, lightheaded, or having heart palpitations when standing).
  • You are willing to use birth control if needed, and can keep your current medications stable during the study.
