Who can take part

  • You are age 18 or older and can sign the study consent form.
  • You have EGFR-mutated metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (either exon 19 deletion or exon 21 L858R).
  • You have at least one measurable brain (CNS) metastasis that has not been treated with radiation or biopsy.
  • You have not previously taken EGFR-targeted medicines (certain prior cancer treatments may be allowed if they were given as before/after surgery with no progression).
  • Your overall health is fairly good (ECOG score 0–1) and you’re expected to live at least 12 weeks.
  • You can swallow and tolerate the oral study medicine, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
