High-dose furmonertinib combo for EGFR lung cancer with brain lining spread

Non-small Cell Lung CancerLeptomeningeal MetastasisEGFR Gene Mutation

Treatments studied

Part of Brain & nervous system, Cancer, Lungs & breathing clinical trials.

This trial tests a strong dose of furmonertinib (a targeted pill) combined with two other drugs, bevacizumab and pemetrexed, for people with EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to the lining of the brain or spinal cord. It aims to see if this combination can better control the cancer and improve symptoms.

NCT05379803Recruiting· Phase 2
High-dose furmonertinib for lung cancer with brain metastases

This trial tests a high-dose targeted pill, furmonertinib, in people with EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to the brain. It aims to better control both the lung cancer and the brain metastases by targeting a specific gene change.

Changsha, Hunan
NCT07348965Recruiting
High-dose furmonertinib for EGFR-mutant lung cancer that spread to the brain lining

This trial tests a new way to give a targeted therapy (furmonertinib) to people with a specific type of lung cancer that has spread to the lining of the brain. It uses a higher, pulsing dose to try to get more medicine into the brain fluid and stop the cancer there.

Guangzhou, Guangdong
NCT07304739Recruiting· Phase 2
Furmonertinib plus radiation and chemo for EGFR lung cancer with brain spread

This trial tests a combination of a targeted pill (furmonertinib), chemotherapy into the spinal fluid, and precise radiation for people with a specific type of lung cancer (EGFR-mutant adenocarcinoma) that has spread to both the brain and the lining around the brain. The goal is to see if this combination can better control the cancer and improve symptoms.

NCT05334277Recruiting· Phase 2
Test furmonertinib for advanced EGFR-mutant lung cancer

This Phase 2 trial studies furmonertinib alone or with other treatment options to control advanced lung cancer that has specific EGFR gene changes. It may help by targeting the cancer-driving EGFR mutation, especially in people whose mutation is confirmed by a ctDNA blood test.

Vebreltinib and furmonertinib for advanced EGFR-mutant lung cancer with high PD-L1

This trial tests a combination of two targeted drugs, vebreltinib and furmonertinib, for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has an EGFR mutation and high levels of a protein called PD-L1. It may be an option for those who have not yet had treatment for advanced disease.

NCT06971406Not yet recruiting· Phase 2
High-dose targeted therapy combo for lung cancer that spread to the brain lining

This trial tests a higher dose of the targeted pill firmonertinib combined with two other drugs (bevacizumab and pemetrexed) given into the spine for people with EGFR-mutant lung cancer that has spread to the lining of the brain. It aims to see if this combination can shrink or control the cancer in the central nervous system.
