  • Be age 40 or older
  • Have blood pressure that is high (top number 120+ or bottom number 80+), with or without blood pressure medicines
  • Not have severe kidney problems (kidney failure, dialysis, or a transplant; or very low kidney filtering)
  • No past major heart or blood vessel disease
  • Not work night shifts regularly
