Who can take part
- Be an adult with BMI 30 or higher, or BMI 25 or lower if you have not had bariatric (weight-loss) surgery before
- Plan to have an endoscopy (EGD) soon for standard care reasons, or already scheduled for it
- Be able to give informed consent and understand the study language (English)
- Not be pregnant, and be willing to do a pregnancy test if you could become pregnant
- Avoid certain situations: no endoscopy safety problems, no recent stomach/intestine surgery, and not using weight-loss medications
