This trial tests whether daily aspirin or naproxen can “intercept” (stop) cancer from starting or coming back in people with Lynch syndrome who are currently cancer-free. Participants are randomly assigned to one of the two drugs, and neither the participant nor the team knows which one you’re taking.

Who can take part
- You must have Lynch syndrome confirmed by genetic testing, or by specific tumor/test findings
- You must be cancer-free or without active/recurrent cancer for at least 6 months
- You must be at least 6 months away from any cancer treatment like surgery, chemo, radiation, or immunotherapy
- You need bowel anatomy that can be checked with colonoscopy or sigmoidoscopy (part of the left colon or rectum must still be there)
- You must agree to stop using aspirin/NSAIDs/COX-inhibitors during the study (with special rules if you take low-dose daily aspirin for heart protection)
- You must be able to do two lower-bowel endoscopy visits with biopsies, about 12 months apart, plus yearly screening for the study
