Looking for TB lung damage risk factors and blood markers

Pulmonary TB

Part of Infections, Lungs & breathing clinical trials.

This study looks at what increases the risk of long-term lung damage after active pulmonary tuberculosis (TB). It also tests whether certain blood or other markers can predict who is more likely to have lung problems later.

Lung rehab for TB and post-TB lung disease

This study is for people with active tuberculosis (TB) who just started treatment, or those who have had TB before and still have lung problems (called post-TB lung disease). It will test if a special lung rehab program with exercise and breathing therapy helps improve your lungs and quality of life.

Testing immune blood markers in tuberculosis care

This study looks at immune system blood tests in adults being treated for active tuberculosis and/or latent tuberculosis infection. The goal is to see if these “immune biomarkers” can help guide or improve tuberculosis management.
