Who can take part
- You have AML (but not acute promyelocytic leukemia).
- Your AML is in remission after treatment (called CR1, CR2, or CR with incomplete recovery).
- You are planning an allogeneic stem cell transplant soon, from a matched donor (or a haploidentical donor with PBSC).
- Your transplant plan includes a conditioning regimen score of at least 1.5 and a TAC-based graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) prevention plan.
- You are age 18 to 75 and your daily function is good (ECOG 0–1).
- You have no major heart, lung, liver, or kidney problems that would make transplant medicines unsafe.
