Who can take part

  • You are age 18 or older.
  • You have an asymptomatic 50% to 69% narrowing in one carotid artery (confirmed by imaging tests).
  • You have had no past stroke or “mini-stroke” (TIA).
  • You can safely walk and follow testing instructions, without conditions that strongly affect balance.
  • You must not be told by your doctor to avoid exercise, and you should be able to attend follow-up visits.
