Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have Parkinson’s disease and had DBS surgery.
  • You experienced mania or a mixed mood episode after DBS was turned on or after DBS settings were changed.
  • That mood episode needs to be thought of as linked to the DBS changes.
  • You did not have mania or a mixed mood episode before age 18, and you did not have bipolar disorder/mania/mixed mood before DBS surgery.
