Who can take part
- You must be 18 to under 75 years old and able to sign consent.
- You have non-small cell lung cancer with confirmed lung inflammation after radiation or immunotherapy (radiation pneumonitis or immune checkpoint inhibitor pneumonitis).
- You must NOT have taken steroid medicine (glucocorticoids) or other immune-suppressing medicines for lung inflammation before starting the study.
- You must be able to follow the study plan and be well enough for study activity (performance status 0–3).
- You must have no reasons you cannot safely do an alveolar lavage (a lung fluid wash procedure).
- You should not have recent serious infection or need ongoing strong antibiotics or steroid-type medicines.
