Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You have received radiation therapy to your chest and have symptoms of radiation pneumonitis (shortness of breath, cough, chest discomfort starting 1 to 4 months after treatment).
  • You need to be able to walk around, not need extra oxygen, and have oxygen levels above 92%.
  • You must be willing to undergo a bronchoscopy (a procedure where a thin tube is placed into your lungs to collect cells) and be able to lie flat.
  • You cannot have had COVID-19 in the last 6 weeks.
