Record breathing effort to protect lungs during ventilation

Who can take part

  • You (the patient) are at least 28 days old
  • The patient weighs more than 3 kilograms
  • The patient needs an invasive breathing machine (a tube placed into the airway)
  • Doctors expect the patient will need the breathing machine for more than 48 hours
  • The patient has not refused consent
