Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older
- Have “high-risk” smoldering myeloma by specific lab findings (M-protein level, light-chain ratio, bone marrow plasma cells, and/or genetic/FISH results)
- Have evidence of the condition starting to change, or have defined high-risk genetics, but NOT active myeloma symptoms
- Have good enough blood counts and organ function recently (within 28 days), including kidney function (creatinine clearance about 60+), and adequate neutrophils and platelets
- Have no signs of “CRAB” (organ damage from myeloma) and no other myeloma activity criteria
