- You were admitted to the ICU after an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest
- Your heart rhythm at the start was either shockable or non-shockable (not limited to one type)
- You had sustained return of circulation (ROSC) for at least 20 minutes and no chest compressions were needed
- You are on a breathing machine for coma, with a low Glasgow score (≤ 8 out of 15)
- You have a consent from a family member, or an emergency inclusion procedure was used
