  • Baby must be born very early, at 25 weeks 0 days to 27 weeks 6 days of pregnancy
  • You must be able to provide written parental consent
  • Baby must not have serious birth defects or genetic/chromosome conditions
  • Baby must not have a serious facial/nose problem (like major nasal injury or major jaw/face defects)
  • Baby must be alive and expected to receive active intensive care for the study period
  • Baby should not be in a different study using an unapproved treatment during the last month
